A regulated bank with Middle Eastern shareholders recognised that its HR processes, policies and organisation design had not kept pace with its evolving business model and regulatory environment.
The bank’s leadership commissioned a complete HR audit to understand where the function stood and what needed to change.
The bank also wanted to modernise its HR function so that it could properly support its strategic growth targets.
Our Role
AcuityX delivered an end-to-end HR audit assessing people strategy alignment, policy currency, process efficiency and organisation design effectiveness. Talent management practices, performance frameworks, reward structures and HR technology were evaluated against financial services best practice to identify critical gaps in succession planning, the employee value proposition and HR data and analytics capability.
A comprehensive HR transformation roadmap was developed, with prioritised initiatives to align the people function with the bank’s growth and expansion strategy.
AcuityX also benchmarked the bank against comparable regulated financial institutions to ensure recommendations were contextually appropriate and achievable, and provided a detailed implementation playbook covering quick wins, medium-term projects and strategic change initiatives, each with clear ownership and timelines.
The Outcome
By the end of the engagement, the bank had a prioritised transformation roadmap with a balanced portfolio of quick wins and strategic initiatives spanning the full HR value chain. Recommendations were formally adopted by senior leadership to modernise HR operations, strengthen the employee value proposition and improve retention of key talent. People strategy was better aligned with business objectives, directly supporting the bank’s plans for growth and product diversification, and an HR analytics framework was established to enable data-driven decision-making and ongoing measurement of progress.
